Japanese rock band Alexandros have released their full music video for the song “ARPEGGIO”, used as the theme song for Project Judge, the upcoming game from developer Yakuza Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio. The song is featured in the game’s elegant opening and even makes it its main theme. You can watch the full video below.
Alexandros recently enjoyed huge popularity in Japan, with her 7th studio album, Sleepless in Brooklyn, due out later this month. Their songs have also previously been featured in works like the movie Bleach Live, now on Netflix, which uses their song Mosquito Bite as the theme.
Project Judge is a brand new intellectual property from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and follows a judge turned detective played by Takuya Kimura, one of Japan’s best actors. Although the game is set in Kamurocho, it is entirely separate from Yakuza and offers a host of new gameplay features such as disguises, chasing suspects, questioning witnesses, presenting evidence, and more.
Of course, Ryu Ga Gotoku’s signature blend of mature drama and extreme weirdness seems to be fully present in Project Judge. We’ve also included the Project Judge trailer below, in case you haven’t seen it yet.
Project Judge will launch on December 13 in Japan, with a Western release confirmed by Sega for some time in early 2019. In other news, Yakuza Kiwami is one of the free PlayStation Plus games for this month, so if you haven’t tried The Yakuza Games or Ryu Ga Gotoku, now is the perfect opportunity to start.
